The Boston-born team leader for the women's gymnastics team at the Beijing Olympics lost her balance on the beam during the finals and also misstepped during her floor exercise, earning her team a silver medal as China took the gold. Short Bio:

 Alicia has won many medals on vault, including a national and world title. I would say without a doubt, vault is Alicia's strong suit, but she is pretty strong all around and contributed to a team silver at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.  I want to say Alicia is best known for being so outspoken in her interviews. She also definitely comes across to me as the Amanda Borden type teammate who is a little bit older than some of the other girls and super supportive of everyone. She is sort of like the voice of the team. Alicia is also recognized as an inspiration to anyone who started gymnastics a little later than most competitive girls; she began gymnastics at age 8 and began competing elite after only 7 years of training.

 Currently: After a brief retirement post-2008 Olympics, Alicia came back from a shoulder surgery and has had quite a bit of success competing elite again. She recently won three medals at the 2011 CoverGirl Classic in Chicago and continues to train elite.  Interesting Fact: Alicia attended Brown University and has considered transferring to Harvard to finish school.  Bismarck du Plessis (born 22 May 1984) is a South African rugby union player, who plays for South Africa internationally, the Natal Sharks in the domestic Currie Cup, and the Sharks in Super Rugby. A native of the town of Bethlehem in the Free State province, Bismarck du Plessis made his debut for the Sharks in Super Rugby (then the Super 12) in 2005. As he plays hooker and plays in the same team as South Africa's captain, John Smit, for much of his career he has been a backup to Smit; however, this has changed with Smit's recent move to tighthead prop. Before Smit's change of position, du Plessis nonetheless played in Super Rugby and the Currie Cup whenever Smit is unavailable, and in 2007 was selected to play for South Africa in the Tri Nations Series. He made his debut for South Africa as a substitute in the same game against Australia in Sydney in which his older brother, Jannie, who was in the starting XV, also made his Springboks debut.  Sonny Bill Williams born August 3, 1985, Sonny Bill Williams is a rugby player for the Canterbury Bulldogs. He has extensive tattoo work, including a half sleeve depicting his Samoan heritage. Sonny Bill Williams comes to Canterbury from the Toulon club in France. A rugby league star with the Canterbury Bulldogs after joining the club as a 16-year-old, Williams signed with Canterbury rugby and the Crusaders this year. Williams arrived on New Zealand's 15-man scene with a crash, bang and offload to die for. He seemed to scale a steep learning curve with ridiculous ease. There was nothing it seemed, aside from a left-foot drop kick from 50m, that Williams could not do on a footy field. He was selected for the All Blacks 2010 end-of-year Northern Hemisphere tour and impressed to the point where it was felt he had edged ahead of Ma'a Nonu in the pecking order following a luminous display against the flowers of Scotland.
